The Chinese computer technology company has its headquarters in China and the United States. The company’s principal facilities are based in Beijing, Singapore and North Carolina.
It started as a team of 10 engineers, with 200,000 yuans between themselves, in 1984. The company gained success and sought to expand its staff in 1988. The company was initially known as Legend but later, changed its name to Lenovo which means “connected thinking’’ in English.
Its operations are based in 60 countries while its products are sold in more than 160 countries.
Lenovo manufactures and sells wearable devices, smart televisions, tablets, smartphones, servers and laptops that are used for personal, domestic and commercial purposes, as well.
Mansha Brothers has provided various institutions, non-governmental organizations such as USAID and various departments of United Nations with Lenovo products.
These products have improved connectivity, communication and raised the standards of education in the region, too.
